For the motor body, there are two links that are most prone to phase loss faults: one is the connection between the motor winding main line and the lead wire, and the other is the connection between the motor lead wire and the terminal head.
For the connection between these two links, different motor manufacturers use different processing techniques, so the severity of the problems may vary.
When connecting the motor winding wire to the lead wire, due to the significant difference in wire type between the two, if not handled properly, especially when using solder to heat and weld, there is a higher possibility of problems. The quality of the solder will directly affect the final welding effect; In order to avoid this problem, many motor manufacturers use intermediate frequency welding or direct hot melt welding equipment, greatly improving the connection quality of this link.
For the connection between the lead wire and the terminal head, most motor manufacturers use cold pressing to solve it. In general, this treatment method is effective. However, when the matching mold is not suitable or the pressure is unreasonable, it is very easy for the connection between the two to loosen, or for the lead wire conductor to be directly crushed, which may cause connection problems during motor operation. In extreme cases, motor phase loss may occur.
In order to prevent the adverse effects of phase loss on the motor, most equipment is equipped with protective devices in the circuit, which can provide protection for the motor.
